I am an artist of anthropomorphic creatures mainly worked in pen & ink but also with a blade & paper. I take my inspiration from a childhood filled with Beatrix Potter, Arthur Rackham and Quentin Blake along with only a pet 'creek' log for a friend and vivid imagination. I read every night before falling asleep, my tastes leading to dark fiction - but not gore. I also like dark humour as I tend to lean to the cynical but I really do love life and I see the magic and the beauty in it all. Life can be cruel but visually there is beauty in everything. I have a husband who is my dearest friend and we share our home with a vast amount of lovable personalities made up from: one tea-cup Chihuahua, a skattling of chickens, a skittling of Muscovy ducks, a raucous horde of roving raccoons, a plethora of wild & wily peacocks, a timid herd of hungry deer and an ever changing but loved with every breath, clowder of cats.
